What Is The Nest Bedding Mattress Warranty?

Derek Hales

Published

Nest Bedding mattresses have a limited lifetime warranty that protects against manufacturing defects for all of their adult mattresses.

Nest Bedding warranties are non-transferable and only apply to the original purchaser. They also make a point to say that the mattress must be used for normal residential use and that it does not apply to commercial, institutional, rental, or uses in hospital settings.

What does it cover?

  • Qualifying body impressions or sagging greater than 2″
  • Manufacturing defects with the cover or zipper
  • Construction defects with the seam or stitching
  • Defects in the coil system

Nest Bedding factors in the age of the mattress in their review of warranty claims. They split it into three time frames: 1-5 years, 6-10 years, and beyond 10 years, with different considerations for each time frame.

The specifics of their warranty evaluation can be read here.

Eligibility

Nest Bedding stresses that to remain eligible, the mattress must be used on a proper foundation. A proper foundation includes:

  • Solid platform or slatted base with slats no more than 4 inches apart
  • Queen-size mattresses and larger must have a rigid center support that contacts the floor
  • Adjustable bases designed and rated for mattress use
  • Placed directly on a flat, level, dry, and structurally sound floor

They specifically mention that traditional box springs are not acceptable and will void the warranty.

Lifetime Renewal Exchange

As long as your warranty is intact, you are eligible for a free replacement of the comfort layers of your mattress. This is intended to extend the life of one’s mattress and refresh its feel to “like new”.
