Are Nest Bedding Mattresses Good for Back Pain?

Derek Hales

Published

Of the 5 different models that Nest Bedding sells, some are exceptional for alleviating back pain, and others are simply acceptable. The two best are the Nest Bedding Owl and Nest Bedding Sparrow models.

Among these two, the Sparrow would be the more popular choice for most sleepers, as the Owl is a latex hybrid.

Latex hybrids can be great for some sleepers and less ideal for others, as they create a more polarizing feel and generalized contour. Some sleepers love the feel of latex while others hate it.

Being good for back pain isn’t just about the quantity of material. Support, firmness, and a person’s sleeping position are all important. The Nest Bedding mattresses that best balance these factors are the Owl and Sparrow models.

These two models also allow sleepers to choose between soft, medium, and firm options to choose the version that best works for them. However, I would recommend the medium option for the vast majority of sleepers, especially for back pain.

The design of both the Owl and Sparrow includes an above-average thickness in their comfort layers. This allows for a greater buffer between the support coils below, which may otherwise cause back pain.

Below are additional performance factors to consider before committing to a Nest Bedding mattress.

For example, as a latex hybrid, the Owl has high levels of motion transfer, which may not be ideal for those sharing a bed. If not disturbing your partner is important to you, I would recommend going with the Sparrow.
