What Are Common Nest Bedding Complaints?

Derek Hales

Updated

In our review of Nest Bedding mattress complaints listed on the Better Business Bureau, the company had 15 total complaints in the last 3 years.

This is a fairly low number of complaints relative to other mattress companies we’ve reviewed. However, they are also a much smaller company compared to some of the large players in the mattress industry that have between 90 and 120 complaints in the same three-year period.

Here is a breakdown of the types of common complaints we saw:

  • 40% involve Delivery / Shipping Issues
  • 35% involve Refund & Billing Disputes
  • 25% involve Product / Warranty Defects

As of early 2026, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) states that Nest Bedding maintains an A+ rating. This largely reflects the speed and thoroughness of their responses to complaints and not necessarily the percentage of satisfactory resolutions.

Specific Complaints From Around the Internet

“Customer service was excellent when I was purchasing, but when it was it,e for questions they went dark. Which seems to be a trend for nest.”

This next complaint has a separate problem regarding support for heavier bodies as well as unsatisfactory edge support.

“After about 75 days we decided that we’d tried enough, and decided to return it. My major complaint was that there was not enough hip support and the sag made my back sore every morning”

However, this customer seems to have had a much better experience with returning the mattress, as they also said, “The whole refund process was 100% what they claim. Easy as heck, no issues from me, and I’m a cynical cranky jerk. Also, don’t remove any tags unless you are 100% sure you are keeping it.

This third complaint contrasts the ease of the returns process seen above with the pushback when trying to file a warranty claim.

“It took their claims department over 10 days to even respond to my initial claim. They informed me that my warranty claim had been denied because the foam was not sagging 1″. Unfortunately degradation of the foam to the point that it causes pain is not covered.”

Finally, the complaint below details another unsatisfied experience with the unsupportive, sagging feeling that doesn’t meet the technical threshold for a valid warranty claim.

“The bed feels like it’s folding like a taco when I climb into the bed. I toss and turn and sleep near the edge of the bed now, just for comfort so that my back does not hurt the following day.”

ConsumerAffairs, 2/5 stars

Note: ConsumerAffairs received many more complaints compared to the BBB, resulting in a 2.4/5 overall rating for Nest Bedding.
