Are Brooklyn Bedding Mattresses Worth It?

According to our testing data, the Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid is the mattress most likely to be “worth it” in the Brooklyn Bedding collection. This mattress strikes a fantastic balance between performance score and price, providing a solid value.

Brooklyn Bedding MattressesScorePrice/QueenValue
Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid9.61$9991.03
Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Hybrid9.53$14051.47
Brooklyn Bedding Sedona Elite9.46$17991.90
Brooklyn Bedding Custom9.24VariesVaries

Considering sub-brands, the Titan Plus is also a great value, although the overall performance score is lower than the Signature Hybrid. I’m also going to note here that the Plank Firm is extremely firm, as the name suggests. If you’re not looking for a firm mattress, the Plank likely won’t be worth the cost for you.

Brooklyn Bedding Sub-Brand MattressesScorePrice/QueenValue
Plank Firm9.61$9991.03
Plank Firm Luxe9.52$11491.20
Titan Plus9.43$9360.99
Titan Plus Luxe9.56$11991.25
EcoSleep Luxe9.67$14051.45

How do we determine value? The value score is determined by considering price and performance score. The lower the number, the better the value.

For example, a $500 mattress with a performance score of 9.8 would have a value of 0.51. A $2000 mattress with a performance score of 9.8 would have a value score of 2.04.

For a mattress to be worth the cost, it needs to strike the performance balance between performance and price.

In addition to price, other factors you may want to consider include:

  1. Cooling
  2. Motion Transfer
  3. Response Time
  4. Edge Support
  5. Sex
  6. Pressure Relief
  7. Off-Gassing
  8. Company

Our NapLab performance tests consider all of these factors. Each of these factors is given a numerical score, based on a mix of objective and subjective data.

Based on your personal needs, it’s possible you could draw a different conclusion so be sure to check out the data below to compare.

As you can see, each mattress has its own set of advantages and strong categories.

The Aurora Luxe hybrid has extremely low motion transfer and fast response time, but lacks edge support when sitting directly at the edge.

Below you can see a side-by-side comparison of edge support of the Aurora Luxe and the Signature Hybrid.

The Sedona Elite has higher levels of bounce and an extremely fast response time. But that extra bounce also translates to higher levels of motion transfer than we see on the Aurora Luxe.

The Signature Hybrid has the best edge support of all Brooklyn Bedding mattresses tested here. It also has an extremely fast response and higher bounce. The biggest downside of the Signature Hybrid is higher levels of motion transfer, which may or may not be a big issue to you.
