All current Helix mattresses have a pocketed coil base and a foam comfort layer. The exact composition of the foam layers varies between model, but essentially it’s a mix of memory foam and poly foam.

In terms of cooling, pocketed coils are one of the most advantageous materials a mattress can have.
Concerning foam, poly foam will generally be cooler than most memory foams. But memory foam that is infused with gel, copper, or graphite have also noted better cooling performance across our tests.
