The Leesa mattress takes minutes to unbox, and it should be fairly easy to do it yourself. Customers can also opt for in-home delivery and setup, but this service costs an extra $199.
If you prefer the DIY approach, take these steps to unbox your new mattress:
Step 1: Bring the box into your bedroom, next to a bed base or foundation.

Step 2: Open the box and pull the mattress out.
Step 3: Place the rolled mattress on your bed frame and remove the plastic wrap. Proceed with caution to avoid cutting through the mattress. Do not use a knife or other sharp objects.

Step 4: Let the mattress unroll and remove the remaining plastic wrap. Allow the mattress to fully expand before setting it up.
Step 5: Position the mattress on your bed frame.

Note that many mattresses, including those from Leesa, have a strong initial odor. If that’s an issue, give your new mattress a day or two to off-gas before sleeping on it.
