Whether or not the Casper mattresses contains fiberglass depends on when you purchased the mattress. Previously, Casper mattresses contained filament fiberglass as a fire barrier. As of 2024, the fire barrier has been updated to use a Rayon fiber-based product.
In 2023 we spoke with a representative 2023 who confirmed that some mattresses sold in Canada contained fiberglass. However, as of 2025, we again spoke with customer support and confirmed none of their current mattresses contain fiberglass.
Based on this timeline, if you’ve purchased a Casper mattress before 2025, there is a chance it contains fiberglass. Here is a list of discontinued models which could contain fiberglass:
