Are Nectar Mattresses Good?

Most Nectar mattresses offer good or great performance, but some Nectar models aren’t as high performance or impressive as others.

The average of all mattresses tested (131 mattresses to be exact) is 9.51 / 10. Using these numbers, the Nectar Hybrid Premier Copper is the only Nectar mattress to perform better than the average.

That being said, Nectar mattresses are still considered good in many areas (especially for the price point). The table below shows individual scores for each of our testing categories:

  2. Motion Transfer
  3. Response
  4. Edge Support
  5. Sex
  6. Pressure Relief
  7. Off-Gassing

As the scores show, Nectar excels in many areas, with green scores across the board.

But from this table, we can see that Nectar’s biggest shortcomings include motion transfer, response, and edge support.

#1. Motion Transfer

The Nectar Hybrids have higher levels of motion transfer, which may be disruptive to couples or sensitive sleepers. But the Nectar all-foam mattresses excel in this category with exceptionally low levels of motion transfer.

#2. Response

Concerning response, the Nectar Hybrid and Nectar Original all-foam have slower responses. The Premier and Premier Copper versions of these mattresses scored perfect 10s.

#3. Edge Support

Edge support is the last area of struggle for Nectar. While the Nectar Hybrids do not have any issues with performance here, the all-foam Nectar mattresses were less successful.

Without the pocketed coil support base, we see deeper sinkage and poorer lying support at the edge as well.
