Yes, some Allswell mattresses contain fiberglass, a type of plastic that serves as a fire barrier. It is unclear whether or not all Allswell mattresses have fiberglass.

All mattresses sold in the U.S. must have some sort of fire barrier that makes them fireproof for 30 seconds or longer. Fiberglass is cheap and effective, but it can become a health hazard if it leaks outside of the mattress cover.
