Are Purple Mattresses Worth It?

Derek Hales

Updated On:

Purple mattresses are worth it if you love the feel of the Purple grid, value cooling highly, and are looking for a floating feel when you lie on a mattress. It has a distinct feel that some absolutely love and others not so much.

The Purple Hybrid that is most likely worth it is the Purple Restore Plus, as it’s the highest performing Purple hybrid also also less expensive than the Restore Premier (their top-tier hybrid).

The Purple Original is the most “worth it” budget-friendly mattress as it has a higher score than the Newday and Purple Plus, but also a reasonable price (less than $100 difference from the Newday).
