In previous years, it was possible to get a mattress shipped from the US into Canada, and doing so greatly increased the mattress brands and models available. However, the high cost of tariffs and currency conversion has made it no longer a good option (at least economically).

In this guide, we’ll be highlighting our picks for the best mattresses in Canada. All of the mattresses we’re recommending are made in Canada, so there will be no issues with tariffs, currency conversion, shipping, or warranty service.
Top Pick

Douglas Summit
The Douglas Summit is the top-performing Canadian mattress we’ve tested to date. It is a premier foam mattress with fantastic performance and a value price—truly the whole package for sleepers who want a good balance.

Canadian Mattress Brands Tested
Each best list is put through a customized performance analysis with specialized consideration given to our objective & data-driven performance tests. In addition, we consider mattress type, design, materials, value, price, and more.

For our Best Canada Mattress list, we based our selections on the mattresses made in Canada with the highest scores, according to our battery of testing and formulaic driven scoring.
These tests analyze performance across 8 critical factors, including cooling, motion transfer, response time, edge support, sex, pressure relief, off-gassing, and company. In addition, we also test sinkage and bounce (though these are not scoring factors).
Our tests include objective and quantifiable data whenever possible. In addition, we use subjective assessment supported by data to round out our testing process.
Our scores are based on mathematical formulas and equations that utilize inputs from our data-driven testing.
In choosing the best Canadian mattresses we looked at the totality of all of our tests, scores, data, and reviews to date. We analyzed this data alongside our established best mattress framework here.
When selecting the best mattress for Canada, we’re looking at a combination of overall scoring performance and those models specifically made in Canada.
To be included within this list all mattresses:
- Had to have an overall score of 8.77 or higher.
- Had to be manufactured in Canada.
- Had to be available for online purchase within Canada.
There are 118+ mattresses that we’ve tested to date that will ship from the US to Canada. For this list, these mattresses have been excluded as we wanted to focus our recommendations on the mattresses made in Canada to reduce headaches with tariffs, shipping, importing, and currency conversion.
You can see the full list of all mattresses we’ve tested that are available in Canada here (sorted by score).

- Great for couples with low motion transfer
- High bounce & fast response create great sex and general ease of movement
- Budget-friendly price
Considerations

- Minimal sinkage and less enveloping feel
Our Verdict
The Emma Performance is a 14″ hybrid mattress made of poly foam, memory foam, pocketed coils, and a 3.5″ support foam base. Its high profile gives the Emma a luxury look and feel, without the high price tag.
This mattress offers minimal sinkage and very high levels of bounce. If you want an active feeling mattress without too much contour and hug, this could be a good option.

Endy All Foam

Best For
- Highly responsive mattress that is easy to move around on
- Robust edge – 3.25″ of sitting compression
- Sleepers on a budget
Considerations
- Pressure relief is limited by the thinner overall design
- High bounce increases sex performance but may create a feel that is not preferable for all
Our Verdict
The Endy is a 10″ foam mattress that uses poly foam for comfort and support.
It has very minimal sinkage and very high levels of bounce. In addition, it creates a floating feel when lying on the mattress, as opposed to sinking down “in” the mattress.
Endy comes in a single firmness with a (7 out of 10) with a slightly firm feel. It has a moderate level of pushback and may not be right for sleepers looking for a deeper level of contour or hug.
But for more moderate-weighted bodies, especially back and stomach sleepers, the 10″ profile and slightly firm feel are ideal. Furthermore, this mattress is ideal for active couples for its high sex score and low motion transfer.
In our performance tests, Endy had an overall score of 9.03, ranking it in the top 21% of all mattresses tested to date. For a queen, the Endy only costs C$895, making it a fantastic value pick.

Octave Horizon

Best For
- Excellent cooling performance with quality, breathable material
- Low bounce for a more stable feel
- Outstanding pressure relief performance
Considerations
- Higher levels of motion transfer could disturb sensitive sleepers
- Sex performance leaves much to be desired
- Good, but not amazing edge support
Our Verdict
The Octave Horizon is a 14″ all-foam mattress made with memory foam, latex foam, transitional gel foam, and a convoluted support foam base.
This mattress has moderate sinkage and low levels of bounce, much like the Douglas Summit featured above. It has a bit higher levels of motion transfer, but still retains a balanced feel.
This mattress has a medium feel (5 out of 10) and is available in a single firmness.
With a score of 8.98, the Horizon is the highest-performing Octave mattress based on our tests, scoring in the top 24% of all mattresses tested to date.

Silk & Snow Hybrid

Best For
- Most affordable mattress on this list
- Supportive edge for sitting and lying
- Excellent pressure relief for light and moderate weight sleepers
Considerations
- Cooling performance is good, but could be better
- Off-gassing takes longer than average
- Slightly less comfort material than average
Our Verdict
The Silk & Snow is an 11.5″ hybrid made of poly foam and pocketed coils, all wrapped within a 1.0″ quilted cover.
It has deep sinkage and a balanced contour with a high level of bounce. While this feel won’t be ideal for all sleepers, if you’re looking for that deeper contour, the Silk & Snow Hybrid may be a good option to consider.
This mattress comes in a single firmness with a medium-firm feel (6 out of 10 on our firmness scale).
In our performance tests, the Silk & Snow Hybrid had a score of 8.86, which ranks it in the top 31% of all mattresses tested to date.
In addition to having better-than-average performance, the Silk & Snow is also a great value. This mattress is priced at only C$800 for a queen, making it significantly less expensive less than the average.

GhostBed Luxe Foam

Best For
- Fantastic cooling performance, despite a thick, all-foam design
- 7.0″ of comfort material makes for outstanding pressure relief
- Very deep sinkage, enveloping feel, and balanced contour & hug
Considerations
- Offers very low bounce – hinders sex and general movements
- Slowest responding mattress on this list
- Trial period is shorter than average
Our Verdict
The Ghostbed Luxe is an all-foam mattress with a 14″ profile, combining a thick pillow-top cover, memory foam, poly foam, and a support foam base.
It has extremely deep levels of sinkage and moderate levels of bounce. For a side sleeper, this level of contour can be beneficial for excellent pressure relief and comfort, but it may not be ideal for all sleepers.
The GhostBed Luxe is only available in a single firmness with a medium-firm feel, 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale, where 10 is the most firm.
The 7.00″ of varied, comfort material makes the GhostBed Luxe Foam one of the best mattresses (if not the best mattress) on this list in terms of support and pressure relief.
This mattress has a performance score of 8.85 overall, which ranks it in the top 33% among all mattresses we’ve tested to date (including US models). Specifically looking at memory foam mattresses, the GhostBed Luxe is in the top 24% performing memory foam mattress tested to date.
The Ghostbed Luxe is considerably more expensive than the average Canadian mattress we’ve tested, with a price of C$2,449 for a queen. That being said, like the others featured on this list, performance is also higher than average, so you’re getting a higher-quality mattress.

Logan & Cove Choice

Best For
- Extremely supportive edge
- Excellent cooling performance with limited heat buildup
- Full year (365 nights) trial period
Considerations
- Worst motion transfer performance on this list
- Good, but not amazing sex performance
- Took 5 days to off-gas
Our Verdict
The Logan & Cove Choice mattress is a 12″ hybrid that contains memory foam, poly foam, and a pocketed coil support base.
This mattress has deep sinkage and moderate levels of bounce. This makes it an ideal choice for side sleepers, but could be a little too deep for some stomach sleepers.
It is available in a single firmness, 6 out of 10, which gives the mattress a medium-firm feel.
In our performance tests, the Logan & Cove Choice hybrid scores an 8.79, ranking it in the top 37% of all mattresses tested to date. Looking exclusively at hybrids, the Choice ranks among the top 39%.
The Choice costs C$999 for a queen, which is notably less expensive than the average Canadian mattress we’ve tested. This means big savings and a big advantage for sleepers on a budget.

For Pressure Relief
Logan & Cove Frontier

Best For
- Exceptional pressure relief with 13.5″ thickness
- Excellent edge support, only 2.5″ of sinkage when seated at the edge
- Slightly more bounce than the average
Quick Specs
- 14″ thick with a quilted cover
- 365-night trial, free returns
- 15-year warranty
Better Edge Support
The Logan & Cove Frontier mattress has similar performance to the Choice, but also with notable differences.
It has slightly lower levels of bounce and less sinkage when sitting on the mattress.
The Frontier uses a combination of memory foam, microcoils, and poly foam for its comfort layer.
In total, the Frontier has 4.0″ of comfort material and the Choice has only 3.0″.
This mattress is C$1,299 compared to C$999 for the Choice, but if you want better pressure relief and more bounce, it can be a great pick.
Casper Snow

Best For
- Excellent cooling performance with phase-change coating
- Great edge support for both sitting and lying
- Excellent pressure relief and comfort
Considerations
- High motion transfer
- Slower material responsiveness, can make it harder to change positions / get out of bed
- Quite expensive, nearly twice as expensive as the average
Our Verdict
The Casper Snow mattress is a 12″ hybrid that uses a combination of poly foam, memory foam feel, and pocketed coils for comfort and support.
This mattress was introduced as a high-performing hybrid with a focus on excellent cooling performance, integrating a phase-change cover as well as Casper’s Heat Delete bands, designed to limit heat retention.
It is a touch softer than many other mattresses in this list, with a medium feel (5 out of 10). This feel would be suitable for lighter sleepers, side sleepers, or those just looking for more pressure relief and comfort without sacrificing support.
In our performance tests, this mattress earned an overall score of 8.77, placing it in the top 40% of all mattresses tested to date.
For a queen-size mattress, the Snow costs C$2,399, which is considerably more than the average, but if you’re looking for incredible cooling and a medium feel, the advantages could be worth the higher cost.
