The GhostBed Classic mattress comes with a 20-year warranty, whereas the GhostBed Luxe and the GhostBed Flex include a 25-year warranty. Therefore, you can still return your mattress even if you miss the free trial period.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, tears, sags, impressions greater than 1″, and other flaws, except for:
- Any changes in the cooling properties of your mattress
- Any normal increase or decrease in the feel of the mattress
- Defects caused by misuse (e.g., placing the mattress on an improper foundation)
GhostBed mattresses returned within 10 years from the date of purchase will be repaired or replaced for free, but you’ll have to cover the shipping fees.

After 10 years, GhostBed will repair your mattress at no charge, except for the handling fees. If you need to replace the mattress, you’ll pay a prorated fee plus the shipping costs.
The prorated fee is around 50% of the purchase price, depending on when you return the mattress.
Year of Warranty | Replacement Cost To Buyer |
---|---|
11th | 50% |
12th | 55% |
13th | 60% |
14th | 65% |
15th | 70% |
16th | 74% |
17th | 78% |
18th | 82% |
19th | 86% |
20th | 90% |

As shown above, GhostBed may charge a hefty fee for any replacement made after the first 10 years of warranty. But even so, it still offers a longer warranty period for hybrid mattresses than other brands.
Last but not least, the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Therefore, it becomes void if you give the mattress as a gift or sell it.
