Yes, all Nectar mattresses can be used with a boxspring. That being said, a boxspring isn’t necessarily required if you already have a supportive foundation.
Slat foundations, bunkie boards, or platform bases provide excellent support, mimicking the support of a traditional boxspring without the extra height or bulk.
If you opt for slat foundations, which are usually more affordable, be sure that they are no more than 2-3″ apart. This is our recommendation to receive ideal support, but it may also be a part of your mattress’s warranty conditions.
