All Amerisleep mattresses are shipped in a box—simply take it out of the box, position the roll on the bed, cut the plastic wrap, and let it expand.
Step 1: Take the mattress out of the box and place the roll on your bed frame.
Step 2: Trim the plastic wrap holding the mattress together in a roll. This will allow the mattress to unroll.
Step 3: Once unrolled, trim more of the plastic wrap to allow the mattress to expand. This process should only take a couple of minutes.
Once fully expanded, your mattress should look like a standard mattress. Remove the plastic wrap and dispose or recycle all packing materials.
According to the manufacturer, you can lay on the Amerisleep mattress right away, but it may take up to 24 hours for the mattress to fully expand (corners are typically the slowest).
Step 4: Once expanded, you can add sheets or bedding as usual and you’re ready to get to bed.
