The Amerisleep AS3 has a firmness of 5 out of 10 (where 10 is the most firm), a medium feel.
This would include the AS3 all-foam mattress as well as the AS3 Hybrid (foam + coils). A medium firmness is a suitable firmness for a wide range of sleepers.
It is firm enough to provide support and avoid excess sinkage, while being soft enough for good pressure relief and hug / contour.

That being said, heavier sleepers or those who sleep on their back or stomach may find this firmness to be too soft.
