Does the Puffy Mattress Need a Box Spring?

No, the Puffy mattress does not require a box spring, but you can use one. According to Puffy, the following foundations are approved for use with Puffy mattresses:

  • Box Springs
  • Slatted Frames (slats no more than 4″ apart)
  • Platform Beds
  • Adjustable Bases
  • Directly on the Floor

A support system that provides minimal to no flex will work with Puffy mattresses.
