No, the Allswell mattress doesn’t require a box spring or any specific type of platform. However, you should use a supportive foundation.

This includes most platform, slat, and box spring foundations. For slat foundations, check to make sure slats are no more than 3-4″ apart.

The use of an improper foundation will void the warranty. If, at some point, you decide to return the mattress, you’ll need to send photos of the foundation used.
