Puffy mattresses are constructed primarily with poly foam / memory foam and those foams are certified CertiPUR-US. CertiPUR-US means their foams are independently tested to be free of the following:
- Ozone depleters (CFCs)
- Toxic flame retardants (PBDEs, TDCP, or TCEP)
- Heavy metals (Mercury, lead, etc.)
- Formaldehyde
- Phthalates
