Our Verdict
The eLuxury Supply Signature Hybrid is a 10″ mattress with a medium-firm feel (6.5 out of 10) and good performance. It uses a 3″ poly foam comfort layer and a pocketed coil base with high-density support foam.
In our performance tests, the eLuxury Signature Hybrid had excellent cooling, with 3″ of poly foam comfort material and a slim profile height. Edge support is exceptional with minimal sinkage and high levels of bounce.
The eLux Signature may be a good choice for lightweight or moderate-weight sleepers on a budget who want something responsive and with minimal contour.
This is far from a perfect mattress, however, it’s inexpensive price point makes it an extraordinarily good value for many sleepers.

How is the Eluxury Signature Different?
The eLuxury Signature Hybrid mattress has slightly below-average performance (0.07 of a point below average), but a price that is significantly below average (61% or $844 below the cost of the average hybrid).
Despite the significantly lower price, cooling, material response time, and edge support were all better than average.
It has over 0.5″ less sinkage than average, but also a higher bounce than average (3.1″ more than average).
Cooling Test
The eLuxury Hybrid has excellent cooling performance. During our tests, I felt no significant level of heat retention around my body.
Baseline Temp.
78.7° F
Max Temp.
90.4° F
Ending Temp.
82.8° F
Max Temp.

Ending Temp

- Baseline Temperature – the temperature of the mattress before anyone lies on it
- Maximum Temperature (0 minute) – the temperature of the mattress after lying on it for 15 minutes
- Ending Temperature (5 minute) – the temperature of the mattress after being lied upon and having no one on it for 5 minutes
The combination of the thin cover and hybrid design provides good airflow in and out of the mattress.
In addition, while the relatively thin 3.0” comfort layer doesn’t do any favors for pressure relief, with respect to cooling, it is a beneficial attribute.
Less foam in a mattress means there is less physical material in which heat could be absorbed into.
Heat Dissipation Over Time

Our objective cooling tests measured a max surface level temperature of 90.4° F. After getting off the mattress the temperature dropped by 4.8° from minutes 0 to 1 and by 7.6° from minutes 0 to 5.
Overall cooling performance on the eLuxury is solid. I expect most sleepers will find the cooling to be perfectly acceptable.
Sinkage Test
The eLux Signature has a very minimal level of sinkage. In our pressure point sinkage tests, we measured a sinkage depth of 1.61”. This is 0.59” less sinkage than the average of 2.20”.
The level of sinkage is documented in the image below.

The minimal level of sinkage creates more of a “floating on top” of the mattress feel, as opposed to sinking down “in” the mattress. Notably, heavier parts of my body do sink down a bit deeper, compared to arms, legs, and head, which rest more on top of the mattress.
The level of body contouring hug is quite restrained, especially compared to the more dramatic feel of memory foam. This is neither good, nor bad, but it is a more specific feel. Sleepers will definitely want to prefer a more balanced and restrained level of foam contouring hug to be comfortable on the eLuxury.
Motion Transfer Test
The eLuxury hybrid has a moderate level of motion transfer. In our tests, we measure a total acceleration range of 11.09 m/s². This is 3.08 m/s² more motion than the average of 8.01 m/s².
Max. Acceleration
6.05 m/s²
Min. Acceleration
-5.04 m/s²
Accel. Range
11.09 m/s²
The level of motion transfer is documented in the video below.
The thin cover, relatively thin 3.0” comfort layer, and hybrid design are all working together to create a higher level of motion transfer. In addition, this is a very budget-friendly mattress.
To hit this price point some material quality is absolutely taking a hit, most likely meaning a less high-end coil unit and foams of a lower density (PCF). Both of these factors would contribute to a higher motion transfer.
In our motion transfer chart, which visualizes our objective accelerometer data, we can see the high motion spikes from 0 to 0.14 seconds and a significant secondary spike from 0.50 to 0.64 seconds.

Even after 0.64 seconds, motion remains moderate until 1.20 seconds, when we return to near-zero levels of movement.
The motion spike, secondary spike, and duration all speak the same story, motion is going to be higher and more noticeable on this mattress.
Response Test
The eLuxury Signature hybrid has a very fast material response time. In our tests, we measured a mostly recovered response time of 0.2 seconds and a full material recovery time of 0.6 seconds.
Mostly Recovered
0.2 sec.
Complete Recovery
0.6 sec.
Both of these are notably faster than the average of 0.43 and 0.88 seconds, respectively. The limited 3.0” poly foam (as opposed to memory foam) and hybrid design (as opposed to all foam) work together to create near-instant recovery speed.
The level of responsiveness is documented in the video below.
While the full material recovery is a touch slower, it’s still notably quicker than the average. Most sleepers will find the responsiveness on the eLux Signature to be more than fast enough.
Bounce Test
The eLuxury hybrid has a very high level of bounce. In our tests, we measured a total bounce height of 11.34”. This is 1.69” more bounce than the average of 9.65”.
Max. Depth
5.07″
Max. Rebound
6.27″
Total Bounce
11.34″
The same design and material choices that create a fast response and high motion also create a higher level of bounce.
While higher bounce doesn’t do any favors for motion transfer, it is greatly beneficial for fast response, ease of movement, and sex.
Max. Sinkage Depth

Max Bounce Height

The level of bounce is also documented in the video below.
Ideally, I like to see 8-12” of total bounce height. It’s enough to maximize benefits, while keeping the negatives in check. At 11.34” the eLuxury is within my ideal range. For most sleepers, I do not expect this level of bounce will be problematic.
Edge Support Test
Edge support on the eLux Signature is excellent. During our tests, we experienced exceptionally good sitting edge support and excellent lying edge support.
Max Sinkage
3.00″
Lying Support
Excellent
In our sitting edge support tests, we measured 3.0” of sitting sinkage. This is 1.25” less sitting edge sinkage than the average of 4.25”. Lying edge support was nearly as good. I felt fully supported by the mattress even when lying directly on the edge of the mattress.
The level of edge support while seated is documented in the images below.
Sitting, 140 lbs.

Sitting, 200 lbs.

The level of edge support while lying is documented in the images below.
Lying on Edge, 140 lbs.

Lying on Edge, 200 lbs.

The eLux uses a super thick 4.5” wide perimeter edge support foam. Usually perimeter support foam is only 3-3.5” wide, so seeing a 4.5” wide foam is fantastic and absolutely helps to improve edge performance for both lying and sitting.
Overall, I am exceedingly pleased with the level of edge support performance, especially for a mattress at this price point.
Sex Test
The best mattresses for sex have high bounce, good edge support, quiet materials, and good pressure relief and cooling.
These 5 factors make up the NapLab sex performance score.
Sex Factor | Factor Weight | Score | Rating |
---|---|---|---|
Bounce | 65% | 9.6 | Very High |
Edge Support | 20% | 10 | Outstanding |
Noise | 5% | 10 | Minimal |
Pressure Relief | 5% | 8.0 | Good |
Cooling | 5% | 9.0 | Excellent |
This mattress has high levels of bounce and exceptionally good edge support. These two factors alone make up 80% of the sex score and make it well-suited for the dance without pants.
It is comfortable and all things considered, it’s essentially a perfect sex score for the eLux Signature.
Pressure Relief Test
Pressure relief on the eLuxury Signature Hybrid is good, but far from great. During our tests, I felt a slight level of pressure point build up in some sleeping positions.
Comfort Layer
3.0″
Support Layer
7.0″
Ultimately, this is a 10” mattress with just 3.0” of comfort material. Thicker mattresses and a thicker comfort layer would help to create better pressure relief, but both of those material aspects are missing.
On average, we see mattresses that are 11.9” thick with a 4.2” comfort layer. Based on all of our tests to date, there is a clear correlation between thicker mattresses and improved pressure relief.

All that said, I am hesitant to complain too much here. The eLuxury Hybrid is an extraordinarily low price for a mattress of this performance level, even with respect to pressure relief.
While pressure relief could absolutely be better with a more expensive mattress, the level of pressure relief created at this price point is still impressive. For many sleepers, it would be easy enough to add a 3” memory foam or latex topper to increase the pressure relief if it is lacking.
Off-Gassing Test
Off-gassing on the eLuxury Signature hybrid is strong right out of the box.
Initial Smell Strength
Strong
Off-Gassing Period
5 days
It took 5 days for the mattress to fully off-gas, which is 1 day longer than the average (across over 150 mattresses tested to date).
Company
The company score takes a look at factors that may influence your experience with the mattress.
Factors include length of the trial period, warranty, shipping / return costs, and country of origin.
Company Factor | Factor Weight | Score | Data |
---|---|---|---|
Trial Period | 15% | 8.0 | 120 nights |
Warranty | 10% | 0 | 5 years |
Shipping | 5% | 10 | $0 |
Returns | 20% | 10 | $0 |
Trust | 50% | 8.0 | Good |
Country of Origin | 0% | USA |
It has a decently long trial period, 120 nights. The average trial length is 160 nights so eLuxury is slightly shorter than average, but still 4 months long.

For many sleepers, this would be sufficiently long enough to decide if the eLuxury is right, but worth noting.
The warranty is only 5 years long, again, a shorter length than the average.
How firm is the eLuxury Signature?
Firmness on the eLuxury Signature hybrid is a 6.5 out of 10, providing a medium-firm feel.

This firmness would be suitable for a range of sleepers, including a variety of sleeper weights and personal preferences in sleeping positions.
Support & Sleeping Positions
Support on the eLuxury Signature Hybrid is good and what I expect out of a 10” hybrid mattress. During our tests, I felt well-supported in all sleeping positions.
While support is good, it’s not going to be perfect for all body types and sleeping positions. Most notably, there is simply a functional weight limit on the level of support a 10” mattress can create.

In my view, the mattress can support sleepers up to around 200 pounds. Some sleepers up to around 250 pounds may continue to find it comfortable and supportive.
However, as you get much above 250 pounds there will be an increase in support and pressure issues. This is in part due to the 10” design, in part due to the material quality, and in part due to the 3” comfort layer.
This design, while incredibly budget-friendly and value-oriented, absolutely has a cap on the level of performance any sleeper should expect. Heavier weighted bodies put more pressure on the mattress and may find the support is no longer sufficient.

If you are considering the eLux Signature you should carefully consider your weight. For most sleepers over 200 pounds, but especially over 250 pounds, I would recommend a thicker mattress with a thicker comfort layer.
Sleeper Weight | Stomach Sleepers | Side Sleepers | Back Sleepers |
---|---|---|---|
Under 150 lbs. | Yes | Yes | Yes |
150-250 lbs. | Maybe | Maybe | Maybe |
250-300 lbs. | No | No | No |
Design
The eLuxury Signature is a 10″ hybrid mattress with a medium-firm feel, 6.5 out of 10, where 10 is the most firm.
Type
Hybrid
Thickness
10″
Firmness
6.5

It is designed to be an extremely budget-friendly hybrid that would be suitable for light to moderate-weighted sleepers.
Materials
The eLuxury Supply Signature mattress has 4 layers. From top to bottom, the layers include:
- 1.0” poly foam
- 2.0” poly foam
- 6.5” pocketed coil
- 0.75” support foam

The Fine Print
I’ll go ahead and point out the obvious here, these layers don’t add up to a 10″ mattress.
It is our estimation that the pocketed coil layer is intended to be 6.0″ thick and the support foam below is likely aiming at 1.0″ thick. The measurements listed match the mattress we received for testing, but these minor adjustments would give the mattress a total thickness of 10″ (as is the advertised mattress thickness.)
The Cover
The cover of the eLuxury Signature Hybrid is 100% polyester with a bright blue trim on the side and a dark gray base. It is soft and breathable with a decent amount of stretch.

The Comfort Layer
The comfort layer is made up of two layers of foam. Directly below the cover is a 1.0″ layer of gel poly foam, followed by a 2.0″ transitional poly foam.
According to eLuxury, these layers are memory foam, but it’s important to note that the law tag makes no mention of memory foam.

The law tag affixed to the mattress states that the Signature Hybrid contains 98% polyurethane foam, 2% polypropylene netting, and a coil spring unit.
The Support Layer
The support layer of the eLux Signature Hybrid is a 6.0″ pocketed coil layer with a 0.75″ support foam. This is a little bit shorter of a coil than I would typically like to see, but would likely still be supportive enough for lighter sleepers.

In addition to the coils, there is also a 4.5″ thick perimeter foam that continues around the edge of the whole mattress.

This foam helps to strengthen the overall mattress, provide additional edge support, and dampen noise from the support coils at the core of the mattress.
Product Evolution
Although the exact release date of the eLuxury Signature Hybrid mattress is a little unclear, we can say for certain that in early 2023, the Signature was updated, which is the mattress currently being produced.
eLuxury had a similar 10″ all foam mattress they launched in 2015. That mattress was discontinued towards the end of 2022.
In some ways, the new eLux Signature Hybrid is an evolutionary leap compared to their original 10″ all foam mattress. However, it’s such a dramatic difference in terms of design that I hesitate to call it an evolution on the original 2015 designed mattress.
