Ashley Sleep has a very limited return policy compared to other mattress manufacturers.
If your new mattress arrives damaged or has manufacturing defects, you have only 72 hours to return it. The company will refund your money, minus the shipping and handling fees. These conditions apply to online orders delivered via ground shipping.

Customers who purchase from physical stores may be subject to different conditions. For example, some stores offer trial periods ranging from 90 to 365 nights.
The average trial period across all mattresses tested to date is 160 nights.
Note that Ashley Sleep only accepts returns for new/unused mattresses. If, for some reason, you cannot return a defective mattress within 72 hours of receipt, consider filing a warranty claim.
