Is the GhostBed Mattress Good For Side Sleepers?

Published

Yes, the GhostBed mattress is good for side sleepers—among all 3 current models, our top recommendation would be the GhostBed Luxe.

Ghostbed Luxe Material Layers

Side sleepers benefit from a softer feel and deeper contour than what would typically be preferred by a back or stomach sleeper. These properties help to support all parts of the spine as well as cradle the hips and shoulder to avoid pressure relief issues.

The GhostBed Luxe in an all-foam mattress with a slightly softer feel (compared to the GhostBed Flex). It has a 2.0″ memory foam top layer which provides deeper contour and a deeper sinkage for side sleepers.

In our tests, we noted 2.9″ of sinkage which is 0.7″ deeper than the average mattress we’ve tested.

All of these factors work together to provide a positive sleeping environment for side sleepers.
