Does The Beautyrest Mattress Sag?

Published

No, Beautyrest mattresses do not sag normally, but this can be a common issue among those posting complaints online. The Better Business Bureau reports that over 75% of the 95 total complaints made against Beautyrest in the last 3 years were categorized as “service or repair” or “product issues”.

Body impressions can form normally over time, but rotating the mattress every 6-12 months can allow the mattress to wear more evenly. Excessive sagging over 1.5″ is protected by the 10-year Beautyrest warranty.

Furthermore, sagging can be the result of using an improper foundation. Beautyrest recommends using an adjustable base, platform bed, or a slatted frame without a box spring. However, they also recommend that the slats should be no more than 2″ apart to prevent voiding their warranty.
