Does The Awara Mattress Need A Box Spring?

Published

No, the Awara mattress does not require a box spring, but you do need a supportive foundation to place it on.

Awara recommends using a basic frame or any flat, solid surface that provides adequate support.

This includes most platform, slat, and box spring foundations. For slat foundations, check to make sure the slats are no more than 3-4″ apart.

If you already have a bed frame you love, add a bunkie board for increased support. The board will keep the mattress in place and prevent it from sagging.
